Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy describes how the website rubinia.ai (operated by KAPSTONE D.O.O.) uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as implemented in Slovenian law) and the GDPR.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They allow a website to recognise your device, remember your preferences and collect technical or statistical information.

2. Cookies currently used

At the date of last update, the Website uses only strictly necessary technologies:

  • Cookie consent preference — stored in your browser’s local storage to remember your choice on the cookie banner. Duration: up to 12 months.
  • Authentication tokens (CRM area only) — used inside the private /admin area to keep authorised users signed in. Not used for public visitors.
  • Security & load balancing — short-lived technical cookies set by the hosting/CDN provider to deliver the Website securely.

These technologies do not require consent under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive because they are strictly necessary to deliver the service you requested.

3. Cookies NOT currently used

We currently do not use analytics, profiling, advertising or social-media cookies. Should we introduce any in the future, they will be loaded only after your explicit consent through the cookie banner, and this Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly with provider, purpose and retention.

4. Legal basis

  • Strictly necessary cookies: legitimate interest in providing the Website you requested (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; no consent required under Art. 5(3) ePrivacy).
  • Non-essential cookies: your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) ePrivacy).

5. Managing your preferences

You can accept, reject or change your cookie preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of the Website, which reopens the cookie banner.

You can also block or delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the correct operation of the Website.

6. Data controller and rights

The data controller is KAPSTONE D.O.O. — for the full list of your rights and how to exercise them see the Privacy Policy. Privacy requests: info@rubinia.ai.

7. Updates

This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the technologies used or in applicable law. The latest version is always available on this page.
